In March 22-25, 2014 Braslav Gymnasium hold a traditional event. It was the International Youth Spring Discussion Camp -2014. The aim of the Camp this year was to change from a thinking person to an active and creative one who is able to change the world we live in. There were 13 teams participating in the Camp this year: 11 from Belarus (Braslav, Minsk, Molodechno, Zditovo, Pinsk, Orsha, Druya, Ivanovo, Vitebsk, Verkhnedvinsk) and 2 from Latvia (School #54, Riga and School #10,Daugavpils).
The participants tried to find better ways to spread the ideas of sustainable development and the Earth charter among the citizens of Braslav region. During the first day of meeting the groups worked out the following ideas: "Give a Smile to the World", "Use a Bike", "A Better World for Kids". On the next day the initiative groups started realizing their ideas. The results of the work were presented at the meeting with the representatives of Braslav Public Organization "Euroregion "Land of Lakes".
